Reservation Process
1. Tour – Set up an appointment for a meeting and to tour Dominican Oaks with the Community Relations Department.
2. Join the waiting list – If you wish to join our waiting list, we require a deposit of $3,500.00. If you decide to withdraw from the waiting list for any reason, 60% of the deposit is refunded to you. Upon moving in, the full deposit will be applied to your first month’s rent. If you have already paid a deposit to join the waiting list, the remaining balance will be due upon move-in.
3. Community Fee – Dominican Oaks has a one-time community fee of $7,000.00 due with first month’s rent at leasing.
4. Interview with the Manager– The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that Dominican Oaks can meet the needs of the prospective resident and, at the same time, give the applicant the opportunity to ask any additional questions that may not have been covered previously. During this meeting the month to month lease agreement is executed as well as emergency contact information.
5. Tuberculosis Test – All new residents are required to provide the results of a recent (taken within 6 months) TB test prior to moving to Dominican Oaks. A blood draw style test is preferred, but a skin test or chest x-ray are also accepted. If you travel outside the US at any time, you will need to be re-tested following the same guidelines as above.
6. Assisted Living – Any resident moving into an Assisted Living apartment at Dominican Oaks must have their primary care physician complete a Physician’s Report prior to move in.
